Real Housewives of Atlanta Supertrailer

Bravo just released a Real Housewives of Atlanta supertrailer and thank goodness I didn't post those other snippets. Looks like this season is going to be good!

We see Nene and Gregg on the scene again after remarriage. Of course, their is Krazy Kenya, who is seen twirling about and gets the police called on her for her publicized eviction. Porsha seems to be all over the place since her and Kordell have called it quits and Cynthia and Peter are having money woes once again. Kandi is struggling with her mother trusting Todd and reports of infidelity arise. Phadra and Apollo have a new bundle of joy and other problems which seems include some sort of question of "fellatio" and then a quick turn to an all out brawl at the end.

I cant wait. Will you be watching??

TLC Speaks About Being Scammed Out of Millions by Pebbles Reid; Brings That Old Thang Back With GMA Performance

Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozanda "Chili" Thomas of the hit girl group TLC, stopped by the Breakfast Club to promote their upcoming biopic CrazySexyCool which airs October 21 on VH1.

Of course, the interview wouldn't have been just for not bringing up key moments that were highlighted in the film, which included getting "raped" by Perri "Pebbles" Reid.

Pebbles was the creator of the group and the pair explained that while she taught them things, she was very difficult to work with:

T-Boz: It’s not exaggerated. When we didn't sign our contracts she cried and she did the whole, ‘You don’t trust me.’ That was true. But she had a tear. Remember the tear? We called it a Demi Moore tear. The thing that is true though, she did do some good for us. She put us together. She taught us some things. But then there’s always times when you work with people, there’s always things that you’re never going to agree with and you don’t like their ways. And people part ways, and I don’t think that she ever got over that.
And the group even had to buy their name back: AT 3 MILLION A LETTER. Chile, it's amazing what greed will do to people.  They were asked why they didn't leave and responded:

Chilli :It’s our dream and most people go through things and at the end of the day you just want to work really and hopefully sell a lot of records so you have the power to change those kinds of things like bad contracts and stuff like that.
T-Boz: But you also want to learn from your mistakes. You don’t want to sit in this business. We’ve been here 20 years and that’s two decades but you need to learn along the way and soak up all the information you can because that would be stupid to be our age and still going through the same things. That’s not hot.
At the end of the day, the ladies are one of the biggest girl groups of all time and have sold millions of records around the world. Apparently, Pebbles went to twitter and was not pleased:

"I NOT here to promote something I put on the MAP and yet have been disrespected by because of more reasons than one! Lawyers on deck."
Girl, good luck with that. The girls kept it classy and did not try and drag your name through the mud. Looks like you did that all on your own. So you cant be mad when they tell the story from their point of view and you feel some type of way now. You may be lawyered up, but best BELIEVE after the ride you took them for, they are too.

Check the interview out below:

P.S. I thought everybody knew about the group being bamboozled out of millions. For any spring chickens who don't remember, I posted videos below too.

And before I forget, did anyone catch their greatest hits performance on Good Morning America?
Makes me miss those days so much check out that video of these two getting their groove back!

"Love and Hip Hop" Season 4 And "Chrissy and Mr. Jones" Trailers

I know I'm hella late but  look who's back.

"Love and Hip Hop' is returning for yet another season and it actually looks to be a good one. Seems they have dropped the dead weight from last season ( I can't even actually remember the dead weight) and added new cast members, which includes K. Michelle's transition from the LHH Atlanta cast. Hopefully, this season will give actual real (Ha!) and interesting story lines this go round.

Oh, and let's not forget former cast members, Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones's new show, "Chrissy and Mr. Jones". I didn't really watch last season and raised a brow when I saw the trailer for the second season, but maybe I'll give it a twirl this go round. Of course, this season brings us back to the pair who are STILL engaged and the introduction of Jim's son, who is living with them full time. It should be interesting to see Chrissy as a step-mom.

Check out the trailers below and let me know if you will be watching!

Look Who's Talking: Laura Govan Says Shaunie O'Neal Ruined the 'Basketball Wives' Brand

Welp, they say a hit dog will holler.....

Looks like Laura Govan has a few unkind words about the creator of the "Basketball Wives" franchise, Shaunie O'Neal.

She feels as though Shaunie isn't keeping with the whole basketball wives theme and is focusing on more of the "hos" (somewhere along those lines).

Rumor has it that her and her annoying sister Gloria Govan have been axed from the cast for the upcoming season of "Basketball Wives: LA". Guess that was adding salt to the wound because Gloria was infamous for saying that had it not been for her, there wouldn't be a "Basketball Wives L.A."
Funny thing is, when the show started it was loosely based on former and current girlfriends or wives,(which it still is) in which case, her and her sister were only dating basketball players like everyone else. Hell, throughout the first season in L.A., we watched Laura try to move on because her basketball boo Gilbert Arenas, left her to fend for herself and their kids (so they say).

And let's not forget, these two and their antics are the very reason they ran Gloria's wack behind from the Miami cast because weren't you, yes you Laura Govan, one of the reasons Shaunie's and Shaq's marriage ended because you were sleeping with him behind Shaunie's back and your bobblehead sister wouldn't admit your behind was wrong?

But I guess we're sleep though.

So now you're out here looking bitter after everything is said and done, you've been axed from the show and you feel some type of way. And guess who still isn't a basketball wife? Don't fight the hand that once fed you boo boo: after all, if it wasn't for SHAUNIE, there would not be a basketwives anything. See how that works?

Bout Time! Rhianna's "Pour it Up" Video Premiere

Well, I would have happily posted the Rihanna "Pour It Up" video earlier, but looks like there was some technical difficulties and all but just in case you have been hiding under a rock, check out the so-called "raunchy" video below. But before you do that, I must say I liked the video; I like Rihanna's lil sample of twerking and her channeling her "inner stripper" on the pole. The appearances by Nicole "The Pole" Williams and Secret Moneii were nice, but honestly I would have liked to see the top-notch performers of King Of Diamonds make an appearance. Maybe they weren't available? I dunno. All I know it would've been the twerk-fest of the year to see Remy Redd do splits on the ceiling, someone sliding dangerously down the pole or SUMTHIN. (Yes, I know certain strippers names. I frequent there from time to time. It's entertainment y'all.) Anywhoo, check it out and enjoy!

New Reality Couple Alert: Lil Scrappy and Bambi and Karlie Redd and Yung Joc

So it looks like the next season of "Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta" will have it's fair share of couples trying to get on that Stevie J and Joseline status of reality couple success.

So when all else fails, (yes, you Lil Scrappy)with your relationship with your child's mother, Erica Dixon and your Flava of Love, Charm School, Francine looking jump-off, Shay Johnson, go find another thirst bucket who's looking for more reality fame, all the while, keeping you relevant. (Gotta pay those child-support checks, ya fizniyee?) Enter here, Bambi. You may remember her from Basketball Wives L.A. and her brief cameo appearances during the most recent season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta- cue the infamous hot tub scene with Kirk and that other thirst bucket, Mary Jane.)

Seems as though the two are officially a couple and the two are smitten (with guaranteed storylines next season, of course.) I wondered about these two long ago, when Mary Jane did an interview on V-103's Big Tigga show and Bambi called in to call her a slut and sorts and Mary Jane told her to ask Erica if she knew about her cohorts with her supposed then man, Lil Scrappy. Lo and behold, months later the two are an item and it will be interesting to see how her role plays out. Will she bump heads with Erica? Or even crazier will she bump heads with that ol' jump-off thang Shay?

Bambi has already confirmed in interviews that she will be on the show and that she is comfortable with her relationship with Scrappy, saying he's dropped all the other groupies and such and is only here for HER. Tuh. Let's see how that pans out.

Another perspective reality couple for next season could be that of Karlie Redd, (ya'll know her storyline was dry as hell last season.) I've seen a couple of candid photos of her kissing and cuddling with Yung Joc (rememba him?) Lol, I'm not sure if he's only popping in Atlanta right now or not, but if he knows how these other struggling Atlanta artists do, he'll hop and that train til the wheels fall off.

Vanessa Simmons Expecting Baby Girl With Boyfriend Mike Wayans

Well, I knew Vanessa Simmons had been quiet on the scene for awhile and now we know why. Simmons posted a sonogram pic on Instagram days ago confirming that she was indeed expecting a baby girl! Congrats!

Another thing that I wasn't aware of  is that she was pregnant by her boyfriend, Mike Wayans, (son of Damon Wayans). Word on the curb is that they've been cozy together years! Marriage in future, perhaps?

Jay Z Covers Vanity Fair; Talks About Crack Dealing And His Daughter's Love For His Music

Jay Z will be covering the November 2013 cover of Vanity Fair, in which he discusses his crack-dealing days, wooing the hottest chick in the game, and his daughter's love for his music.

While keeping his fashion dapper and iconic, he also added a hint of street style from his Brookyln roots through styling by June Ambrose.

The rapper explained his good business sense was learned through crack-dealing.

I know about budgets. I was a drug dealer.  To be in a drug deal, you need to know what you can spend, what you need to re-up.”
He emphasized that his dealing days were used as a stepping stone and that you always have to have an exit strategy.

“If you want to start some sort of barbershop or carwash — those were the businesses back then.  Things you can get in easily to get out of [that] life.”
“You have to have an exit strategy, because your window [for dealing drugs] is very small.  You’re going to get locked up or you’re going to die.”
Cue dope boys, or the aspiring ones, at least. You can't be Jay Z's age still trapping.

As far as what got him out of that life and how it affected him:

“Not until later, when I realized the effects on the community. I started looking at the community on the whole, but in the beginning, no."
“I was thinking about surviving. I was thinking about improving my situation. I was thinking about buying clothes.”

He was also asked if the rumors about his daughter, Blue Ivy, not liking Beyonce's music was true and how she likes his music.

"That’s not true. She does like her mother’s music—she watches [Beyoncé’s concerts] on the computer every night. But my album came out and I don’t know if Blue ever heard any of my music prior to this album—she’s only 18 months old and I don’t play my music around the house. But this album was new, so we played it. And she loves all the songs. She plays a song and she goes, ‘More, Daddy, more . . . Daddy song.’ She’s my biggest fan. If no one bought the Magna Carta [album], the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy. And that’s not like a cliché. I’m really serious. Just to see her—‘Daddy song, more, Daddy.’ She’s genuine, she’s honest, because she doesn’t know it makes me happy. She just wants to hear it.”

He then goes on to talk about the other lady in his life, Beyoncé and how he snagged her ten years ago.

Jay says that when he and Beyoncé were both featured on the cover of Vanity Fair’s 2001 Music Issue “we were just beginning to try to date each other.” Try? “Well, you know, you’ve got to try first. You got to dazzle . . . wine and dine.” He tells [writer] Robinson that “of course” he pursued Beyoncé, and when asked if he hadn’t been Jay Z—say, he had been a gas-station attendant and she pulled up—would he have been able to date her, he responds, “If I’m as cool as I am, yes. But she’s a charming Southern girl, you know, she’s not impressed. . . . But I would have definitely had to be this cool.” Jay confirms that the line on his latest album, “She was a good girl ’til she knew me” is about Beyoncé, and when Robinson asks if she’s not a good girl anymore, Jay laughs, saying, “Nah. She’s gangsta now.”
At 43-years-old, Jay Z is about to kick off his Magna Carta Holy Grail tour November 30th, and does not see an end to rapping days anytime soon. (Remember his retirement, wasn't like almost ten years ago?)

And that Chris Brown, is how Jay Z gets a pass. He turned lemons( crack-dealing) into lemonade (good business skills and one of the top paid rappers in the game.) No whining here, sir.

Two Informative, Yet FUNNY Takes on The Affordable Care Act or "Obamacare"

Of course by now, many are aware that the government has shut down due to the ability to agree on government spending.  One of the main issues that is surrounding the reason for this crisis if The Affordable Care Act or Obamacare. Open enrollment began today, and I can say had it not been for these videos featured below, my head would still be in the clouds as to what the heck Obamacare even is. Welp, after viewing this clip from the Jimmy Kimmel show, it seems I am not alone.

I think it's too hilarious that people think that The Affordable Care Act and Obamacare are two different things. What's even funnier is that most of the people they asked were white people, attempting to sound educated on the matter but just sounded plain dumb.
Tee-hee-hee-hee.

Obamacare sounds scary to white people. The Affordable Care Act sounds more comforting. Great PR ploy for making white folks comfortable. Because it's bad enough a black man is taking the country's reigns, let's not get him involved in everyone's healthcare too. But then again, I didn't know much about until today anyway, so there's that.

Anywhoo, another video surfaced today with Jennifer Hudson spoofing Olivia Pope from ABC's Scandal. In the video, Hudson is deemed the "fixer" and is searching for a scandal, but instead helps those who have had previous problems with healthcare. Check out the video below.
