Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz Expecting Baby #2; Celebrate Wedding Anniversary

Well, congrats are in order for Alicia Keys and hubby Swizz Beats; the couple are expecting another bundle of joy! The pair are also celebrating their 4th Wedding Anniversay, July 31. I heard a little rumblings about her expecting, but she's definitely far along! The couple released the news via their Instagram accounts. Alicia wore a beautiful white goddess dress, much like her wedding dress.

Rapper Remy Ma to Be Released From Prison



Can you believe it's been over 6 years since Reminisce Smith, a.k.a Remy Ma has been locked up? She will be released from Bedford Hills Correctional Facility later on today, after serving time for shooting Makeeda Barnes-Joseph in the abdomen and back in 2008, reportedly over 3 racks. Remy Ma called into Angie Martinez show on Power 105, doing a 14 minute interview  discussing her prison stint and what's in store for her release. Check out the deets below:

• She spent her time writing rhymes and reflecting on her situation that "cause her to look at business dealings, personal actions differently."
• She commented on Nicki Minaj stating "Nick has always been a supporter and vice versa."
• She married her longtime boyfriend, rapper Papoose,(I had no idea they were an item!) and he held her down during her entire lockup!
• She lost weight( which is good, because most people GAIN weight) and has a reality show in the works, which will document her initial release

It will be interesting to see how and when she jumps back in the rap game, because things were VERY different for female MC's back then and now. Will we see a collabo from her and Mrs. Nicki? I wish her the best!



She Knows the Difference: RHOA Star Kandi Burruss Demands Popeyes on 'A Mother's Love' Tour

I was too tickled when I read the tour rider from Kandi Burruss "A Mother's Love" Tour, over at FunkyDineva.com. Of course, if you don't know, The Doll is actually in the play, so you know he had a few choice funny words. Check out the deets below:

With all that wagon she is draggin’, Kandi insists that she only sit on a new toilet seat and wipe her funk box with Cottonelle toilet paper. The real gag is, Kandi is trying to pull it. I done been round ha house, and in that guest bathroom, Mama had that blue 1-ply tissue that your country grandma gets from Family Dollar. Hoes kill me. You don’t wipe your ass with Cottonelle on your own dime, but you want somebody else to finance your boongee’s romance with Cottonelle. Girl Bye! 

Kandi’s rider stipulates that a brand new toilet seat must be installed under the supervision of her road manager or assistant, and the bathroom must be fully stocked with Cottonelle and Dove soap. Mind you the rest of us on the tour are probably going to have to wipe our ass with those elementary school paper towels and wash our hands with liquid soap that comes in a gallon container. Jesus hurry up and get me off the F-List. My coochie is just as precious as Kandi’s. At least my neighbor’s husband thinks so.

Oh well, I can tell y’all THIS. My ass will not be eating granola bars and and chips from craft services. Nope! My ass is gone be down to Kandi dressing room stealing chicken wangs. Tryna do me! I don’t think so!! 

LOL! Well, it looks as though Kandi's play is going on a national tour to a city near you, so I don't think her demands are that unreasonable. Chile, if I had a choice I would choose Popeye's too- and  you CAN tell the difference!!!! The new toilet thing seems odd, but going to all those different bathroom facilities, you want to be clean and comfortable- and have good toilet paper- Cottonelle is the best! And Dove is the best soap, because being on the road doesn't mean you should skimp on your soap and if her skin is anything like mine, messing with any soap other than Dove will have your skin all out of whack! Besides that, will you be catching a show near you? I wanna go!!!



Mase Leaves His Church and Returns to Rapping... Again.



Looks like rapper Mase is making a comeback to the rap game, once again. I couldn't remember exactly, but I seemed to remember him retiring from the rap game in the 90s, and after checking out his Wikipedia page, it stated he announced his retirement from rap on May 4, 1999, during a interview with Funkmaster Flex on New York's Hot 97. He wanted to pursue a "calling from God." and stated "rap was not real" and he had become unhappy with what he did, no matter how much it paid."

Alas. he returned to the rap game after a five year hiatus, during the summer of 2004. (Remember 'Welcome Back'?) He dabbled in rap for years to follow, but ultimately made his way back to his ministry with parishes in Atlanta and Phoenix.

According to TMZ,

On-again, off-again rapper/pastor Mase has officially left his parishioners of the El Elyon International Church high and dry … and has run back to the rap game full time.
Mase, who “retired” from rap in 1999 to pursue a career in the ministry, built up thousands of followers split into two churches in Atlanta and Phoenix … preaching the virtues of marriage and family values.
That all came crashing down earlier this year when Mase and his wife divorced, causing most of his flock to flee in anger. As for those stalwart loyalists, well Mase says … screw them.
He’s dropped all ties with both churches and is playing regular rap gigs around L.A., jumping back into his former lifestyle hardcore

Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union to Wed on August 30th.



Looks like D. Wade and Gabrielle Union are finally tying the knot, after years of dating and a "break baby." The couple will tie the knot on August 30th, but the details of the location are being held tightly under wraps. Guests have been slapped with the "no cameras, no phones" rule and there are no details of the exact location, as guests will meet at a particular hotel and be driven to a secluded location.  Check out the invite below:

Singer Brandy was granted honorary membership into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Brandy continues the legacy with her mother Sonja Norwood , who was initiated as an AKA at Southern University Beta Psi Chapter, in celebrating 106 years of sisterhood at the 66th Boule in Charlotte, N.C.

Along with Brandy, writer/director Ava DuVerna and Senator Z.C. Allyson Maynard Gibson were also granted honorary memberships.

Drake Hosts 2014 ESPYS; Watch Hilarious Performances and Skits

Last Night, July 16. Drake hosted the 2014 ESPY Awards,  held at the Nokia Theater in L.A., which annually recognizes the achievements of athletes, on the collegiate and professional level. I usually never watch these awards, although I'm sort of a sports fan (professional football and basketball), but when I heard Drake was hosting, I figured it would be worth watching. If you saw his appearance as host on SNL a few months back, you'll know that this guy is hilarious!

*Update* The Real Breakdown Of The LHHATL Reunion Brawl

 



After all the throwing of bows is over from the taping of  the reunion show of 'Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta' , the deets of what really happened has finally emerged.  Get your deets below:

Sources are saying that Joseline did not catch a beat down, it was Althea. After Benzino made comments about alleged drug use, Stevie J. went for Benzino's head. This was when Joseline beelined it for Althea, and punched her in the face so hard there was a crack sound heard. And of course, there was weave pulling. Then, she turned to Tammy, Wacka Flacka's wife, and snatched her ponytail weave off. Deb Atney jumped in an had to be restained but she reportedly punched Joseline and pulled out her weave. During all of the chaos, Joseline bit a security guard, ripping a piece of flesh from him (ewwww.) She ended her rampage with later seeing Mimi and elbowing her in the back and shoving her down the stairs. Police had to be called and people had to seek medical attention. They are now saying the cast wants Joseline FIRED. I honestly doubt that will happen, because she is great for reality TV and she is going anywhere unless she quits. Y'all know she ain't trying to go back to the strip club........definitely will make for great TV when the episode airs.

Stevie J. went on Hot 97  to talk details of the fights and his issue with Benzino, calling him a bitch for trying to interfere in the fight between Althea and Joseline.  Deets on the interview below:

 



Young Joc's Wife Files For Divorce



After 13 years of marriage, Young Joc and his wife Alexandria Robinson have decided to go their separate ways. Well, if you have been keeping up with recent episodes of 'Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta', Joc was parading around town with Karlie Redd, amongst other women ( remember real estate chic?) like he was never married. He mentions during the season that he was divorced but it's obviously not final. Truth be told, I had knowledge that Joc was married from years ago when a college friend that worked in the Atlanta music industry  mentioned his marriage and kids to me because it wasn't  widely known around town. After the shenanigans Joc has been pulling around Atlanta,  it's assumed wifey has had enough. Joc and Alexandria were high school sweethearts and share three children together.

SHENANIGANS!!! Stevie J Leaks Althea's Nudes, Sleazy and Zino Beef and Cast Members Catch Fade At Reunion Taping



Well, the cast of 'Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta' have been doing a great job of keeping themselves relevant these days. Its been so much going on social media  today, I cant keep up! So here it goes.

First, Stevie J. leaked nude pics of Benzino's fiancé, Althea, on twitter earlier with the caption "Lettuce anyone?? It's a picture of Althea performing fellatio and supposedly there are other pics as well. Althea confirms that it was Benzino in the pic as her and Stevie J. clap back at each other. And to make matters worse, the filming for the reunion began yesterday and word is that damn near the entire cast was fighting! According to reports from audience members via instagram, it all started with Stevie J. and Benzino exchanging words about alleged drug use, and Joseline ran up on Althea. Once security broke those two up, Joseline went after Tammy and Deb and Bambi jumped in. Joseline then ran up on Mimi in front of Stevie and whopped ass, apparently after getting dealt with twice before.... all in all, 911 had to be called and a few cast member had to seek medical attention.WELP, get ready for ratchet TV at its finest, coming to a TV screen near you!!!





Days After Twitter Rant, Meek Mill Sentenced to Jail Time



It looks at though rapper Meek Mill aka Robert Williams will have time to reflect on his twitter rants against fellow label mate Wale and other transgressions due to being locked up.

Days ago, the rapper appeared with his attorney Gary Silver before Common Pleas Judge Genece E. Brinkley, appealing for the rapper to stay free. With a hearing that lasted four hours, the judge was not having it, citing that the rapper had made  difficult to remain in touch with him. Apparently, he had changed his number without giving his probation officer a proper contact, and was allegedly taunting the case prosecutor on twitter, calling him a racist. (Because he likes to rant on twitter?)  He also was scheduling shows and appearances without clearing it with the court first, which was viewed as a direct violation, so bam, he was landed with a jail sentence for three to six months.

Before being taken into custody the judge stated:

Of all the people that have come before me, I knew you had the talent to be as successful as Jay Z but not only have you let me down, you have let your fans down.”

The head of MMG, Rick Ross, released an official statement to MTV:

'R & B Divas' Star LaTavia Roberson Proves She Can Sing......Kinda



I haven't been keeping up with this season of 'R & B Divas: Atlanta', but I kept hearing this buzz that LaTavia would not sing when asked, or that she flat out refused. Now, one would think she would have a problem since she is a former member of 'Destiny's Child and for the simple fact that she is on a show about divas. R&B Divas, that is. Because they sing....right? Well, whatever the case, she seemed to keep mum the entire season. Now, I understand that after the infamous breakup, there was major shade thrown that ALL the members of Destiny's couldn't sing. We now know LaToya can sing, so no one knows who the shade was actually directed to. Throw in the fact LaTavia stayed out of the spotlight for years and she went on record saying she dealt with substance abuse. So to be thrust back into the very spotlight that chewed you up and spit you out, I can understand her reluctance to sing at first. But obviously, she made a choice to put herself in the spotlight again, why NOT sing?

Well, good ol Wendy Williams, the host of the reunion show, put her on blast. So she sang, kinda. I'm hoping she wasn't serious, because even though it was on the spot, they were struggle notes indeed. The kicker was Wendy's face......I just cant take her sometimes, lol.....Watch the video below:

 

 

 

LaTavia also told Sister 2 Sister that she doesn't need to prove her vocal ability to anyone, because she has Grammys to prove she can indeed sing. Although it was a group that Beyoncé mostly carried vocally, she does have a point.....



RHOA Star NeNe Leakes Reportedly Not Returning Next Season; Sherri Shepherd Leaves 'The View'



It must be the season of moving on these days.

Its being reported in the blogsphere that Nene Leakes was fired from the show, although it was reported that all the ladies had been invited back for next season.

Ms. Leakes took to twitter to clear up any misunderstanding:

I'am NOT comin back 2 RHOA because I was fired, NO I quit, NO I wanted more money, NO they cut my salary and YES all this is BULLSHIT - Nene Leakes (@Nene Leakes) July 2, 2014

Looks like Nene isn't going out without a fight. Rumors were flying that she supposed take a pay cut and be featured on the show part-time, but as the only original cast member and the highest paid on the show, it should be known that would be very unlikely. (Maybe reports are confused with Sheree Whitfield, who is rumored to be making a comeback next season?)

Well, they say its good to know when to move on......

Another starlet that is moving on is Sherri Shepherd, who leaving the 'TheView'. This after all the drama going on with here filing from divorvce from her husband and reportedly not wanting anything to do with their expected surrogate child, fearing child support from her estranged husband. Rumor has is that she may have wanted more money. Alas, Sherri confirmed:

" A lot of those people close to me and some of the producers here, they've known since the spring that I did not intend to return to the show once my contract ended in August."

She also added:

"You guys know that I often talk about my faith. I'm a woman of faith and seven in the Bible is the number of God's completion," she said. " I've been here seven years, and my time at 'The View' is complete."

RHOA Star Apollo Nida Sentenced to 8 years in Prison



Apollo Nida, of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was sentenced on July 8 for bank fraud and ID theft. Nida was potentially facing up to 30 years in prison but faces less time due to his cooperation on the criminal activities of others. According the AJC, Nida was none too pleased about the sentence and replied with "The government did what they had to do.", in annoyance as he exited the courtroom. He is free for now but is expected to turn himself within the next three to six weeks.

Considering the time that Nida's female accomplice, Gayla St. Julien, received, which was 5 years, its shocking he didn't get more time. Nida's wife, Phaedra Parks was reportedly not in attendance. Parks said she would stand by her man stating "...we are where we are and we'll support him. We are a family. He's the father of my two beautiful kids and at the end of the day, I am a Southern belle and I believe in family and I will support him until this is resolved."

Only time will tell....

To further add insult to injury, Radar reports that just weeks ago one of Nida's properties was auctioned off. He lost the home due to failure to pay taxes on the property, which he brought for $9,000 in 2010. The 4-687 square-feet home was auctioned off for $2,800!!!!!!!!(Sidenote: He could spend $8,000 in the strip clubs but not pay taxes on a home under $10,000? Chile, that fronting to be glamourous in the A will have you looking stupid....)

This should play out as an interesting storyline for Phadrea on the next season of RHOA.

We Miss The Old School: New Edition and Tevin Campbell performances

When BET brought back old school groups Troop, Silk and Color Me Badd, during the recent airing of the 2014 BET Awards, it sent a an uprising of all the 80s and 90s group we all came to know and love. On Facebook, I came across a video of a New Edition performance. I'm not sure where they were performing, but poor Bobby Brown just couldn't keep up with the all the moves; he ended up having to take a break! It was great to see him trying and all of them together again.





In New Orleans, Tevin Campbell took to the stage at Super Lounge at the Essence Fest over the weekend. He performed his hit "Can We Talk?" and couldn't quite perform due to the audience singing....lol.







Sleazy and Zino's: The Jumpoff Place That Never Seemed to Jumpoff......



If you have been watching Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, you may recall the episode where Stevie J. and Benzino opened Sleazy and Zino's Bar and Bistro. An altercation between Benzino's fiancé, Altheia and his ex boo, Karlie Redd ensued. But according to previous reports earlier in the year when those scenes were filmed, things got was messier and innocent clubgoers were involved in the madness. Seems as though ever since, things have been quiet when it comes to the new hotspot.

Well, seems as though the events didn't sit to well with the actual owners of the establishment (because you didn't actually think they really owned the place? ) According to wetpaint.com, the two are in court, determining the actual ownership of the bar, but it seems as though they were apparently hired to run the establishment. It may be  confusing a first but here's the breakdown: After the breakdown of scuffles that occurred, it seems as though the people who actually are on the lease and have the liquor license weren't having all the SHEE-NANNIGANS (In Joseline's voice). In turn, they blocked any future events from taking place in the establishment, hence, leaving the bar sitting empty. Seems as though the Sleaze and Zino went to court and claimed to have made over $23,000 in improvements, but yet that doesn't make you an owner; anywhoo, seems like they are currently having court issues and until thee situation is sorted out, looks like the bar wont be making anybody coins....

Too bad, I stumbled across the defunct website hoping they had a good menu.........

Slow and Steady: Sorry For The Delay; Atlanta Exes Update

 

 





If anyone out there actually reads this blog at this point, it's taken a bit a break, mostly due to other projects I'm developing and well, just life. But do not fret, Guiltytreats will be back, with better quality and updated posts. Work with me as this blog is a work in progress!!!

On another note, my last post detailed the current (at the time) situation of VH1's reality show, Atlanta Exes, and at one point it was rumored that one of the members of the cast, Tameka Raymond, had maybe left the show. Tameka Raymond Rumored to Have Left Cast of Atlanta Exes; Replaced with DJ Tracei Steele



 

 



So after it was announced that Atlanta Exes would be debuting this Summer, rumor has that Tameka Raymond has quit the show. I surely hope this isn't true because I am POSITIVE that she would make for great reality TV. But apparently, she quit the show and is replaced by DJ Traci Steele? (Remember her from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta?......I know..yawn.......) Well, whatever the story is, there was a rift between Steele and Raymond at a charity event that was held in honor of her deceased son Kile....how classy...check out the story below.

Tameka held  a ’T’ Market event on Saturday (February 22, 2014), selling items from her now defunct ‘Estelle boutique’ and proceeds were to go towards Kile’s World Foundation, which was organized to honor her late son’s memory. I attended the event in support of Raymond, but had no idea it was to be filmed for the show.

Needless to say, I caught wind of drama on deck as soon as I pulled up on the scene as I spotted Tameka and DJ Traci Steele (formerly of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta) going at at!
 
o here’s the deal, I heard that  DJ Traci and her baby daddy DJ Baby Drew have officially been booted from the cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
The couple just didn’t have what was needed to ‘turn up’ on the ratchet reality show and won’t be returning for season 3.

But it seems Traci learned her lesson.

The Atlanta DJ has been hanging out with Torrei Hart on the set of ‘Atlanta Exes’ and it seems that Hart and Raymond haven’t ‘bonded’ as expected. Steele (who knows Raymond) decided to be the ‘glue’ that could possibly hold the two ‘reality show’ newbies together.

Steele’s idea was a complete FAIL, especially considering that she brought the drama to an event that was being held to honor Tameka’s deceased son!

With camera’s rolling, Steele immediately ‘Turned UP’ for the show and acted out at the event in front of several surprised customers.

From what I’ve heard, Traci came into the store yelling and screaming at Tameka asking why she didn’t like Torrei and blah blah blah. Tameka could be heard stating, ‘this isn’t the place for this’ and Traci continued to press the issue.
 
When I pulled up, I spotted the three women walking out of the store where the argument continued outside. I stopped for a moment and chatted with Monyetta Shaw (she’s such a sweetie), which was when a producer came asking me to sign a release.

[SIDEBAR:  Y'all already know I don't do releases. I had no intention of being filmed and had I signed a release, you guys wouldn't have this tea! So thank me later. lol]

Tameka was apparently upset that the women would go so far as to bring the drama to something that was being held to honor her son and I’ve HEARD that Raymond submitted her resignation shortly after Traci showed up and showed out.

This better be false in some way because Traci dear, Ive seen you on TV and Im not interested. Welp, we shall see how this develops

Matthew Knowles' Baby Mother Appears in Inside Edition Interview; Still Claiming That He is Behind on Child Support



44-year-old Alexsandra Wright and her four-year-old son Nixon Wright, whose father is Matthew Knowles, father of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, took to television to air her grievances about her no good baby daddy.

Wright made an appearance on Inside Edition, claiming he still owes a whopping $32,000 back child support and he has yet to make an effort to see his son. She also felt the need to throw in the two-cents of the fact that Beyoncé has never met her half-brother.

She also claims to have to now be dependent on public assistance in the form of food stamps and makes a claim that Matthew tried to convince her to let Jay-Z and Beyoncé raise her child as their own, prior to the birth of Blue Ivy. (I can hear the conspiracy claims already....)

Keep in mind, Wright is also (or was?) an actress.....maybe she cant secure work?

The Dog Diaries Continue: Ludacris Seeks Full Custody of Baby Daughter



Its looks as though as though Atlanta Rapper Ludacris is tired of going back and forth with his new baby's mother, Tamika Fuller, in regards to child support payments and such and has decided to cut out everything all together and seek full custody of his baby daughter, Cai Bridges.

At first, he claimed not to be making enough money, due to the fact of the death of  his "Fast and Furious" co-star Paul Walker,  in which filming has been halted, which is hindering him from making the $15K monthly payments which Miss Fuller is demanding.

Of course, this is after he exhausted all his other efforts not to pay up, which included him claiming he only made $55K a year and the accusation that Fuller tried to extort him for a car.

But word on the curb is the obvious when it comes to Tamika Fuller. Several blogs have been a buzz that she is a known groupie and apparently has some sort of problem with holding a steady residence.

So Ludacris plans to nip everything in the bud and seeks full custody and wants Tamika to pay Child support. Wowzers!!!

Rapper Ludacris wants to do something so shocking, it will send shock waves through the rap community — he’s fighting for CUSTODY of his kid.
Luda and baby mama Tamika Fuller are duking it out in an Atlanta court over custody and child support. They had a baby girl 2 months ago and Tamika’s been taking care of the kid.
The rapper now says in legal docs he’s a “fit and capable parent” and should get full physical custody. He offers up his parental resume, saying he’s always been “an active father” to his 12-year-old girl.
Now the plot thickens.
Luda has also asked the judge to force Tamika to pay HIM child support. That’s interesting, because Tamika was asking for $15K a month in child support and Ludacris pleaded poverty, saying Paul Walker’s death derailed “Fast & Furious 7″ and his cash flow dried up. The judge awarded her $7K a month.

Chile, Ludacris says he ain't going out.....I guess we'll see how this story develops....

Terrell Owens and Postal Worker Boo Headed for Divorce



Welp, if there was an award for who can get the quickest divorce these days, Terrell Owens wins I suppose. About two weeks ago, Owens quietly married Rachael Snider. Now, according to TMZ Snider wants a divorce, claiming Owens only married her for her money and used her to get a $ 2 million dollar loan.

It was only back on January 23rd that T.O. married Rachel Snider in a secret ceremony at a courthouse  in Newhall, CA. 

But now, we've learned ... Rachel has left T.O. -- moved out of California -- and plans on filing for a divorce asap. 

Rachel tells TMZ Sports ... she believes Terrell only married her for money -- and claims he used her so he could get a loan for a $2 million home in Sherman Oaks, CA.

"I felt in love ... and now I feel betrayed and heartbroken," Snider says. 

Snider adds, "I really valued his love and friendship for 5 years. Out of the love in my heart, I tried to help him. We had a secret relationship for 5 years and I married him for love."

Owens fired back claiming that he's no longer broke and didn't use for anything.

 Terrell Owens says his estranged wife is lying — insisting he’s NOT broke … and he vows to file divorce papers AGAINST HER as soon as he gets back into town. We broke the story … after two weeks of marriage, T.O.’s wife Rachel Snider says she left the NFL star and claims he only used her to get a loan for a home in Sherman Oaks. Well, I honestly forgot that he got secretly married...but she says she has been dealing with him for five years, so she's saying she didn't have a clue about his situation or the person she was marrying> Tuh. I smell somebody trying to either make a few extra checks or get put on the map. Girl, bye.

 

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Brawl; Producers Crack Down Foolishness



So, even though this alleged incident occurred last Wednesday night, I haven't posted on it because I began reading too many conflicting reports as to what happened. So here's my best breakdown of was happened:

• There was an apparent brawl(s) that broke out at the opening of Stevie J and Benzino's new restaurant, "Sleazy and Zino's Bistro and Bar" (Yummy name, right?). Of course the camera's were on scene to tape event and caught all the craziness
• Supposedly animosity began with a girlfriend of Joseline Hernandez Baby( you know I had to get that right). She began having words with several people that included your favorite side piece, Shay Johnson..
• There was also bad blood between Karlie Redd and Benzino, who had a new boo in tow or should I say fiancé named Thea (Thi Thi). Karlie and Benzino had words and the new boo jumped in, which resulted in bottles being thrown across the in bar and cast members such as Momma Dee got hit in the face with said bottles. Karlie Redd was supposedly knocked out (don't know if it was a bottle or fists or what).
• The producers had an emergency meeting after the brawl, as they were worried about innocent bystanders that were injured in the melee. They are worried about potent lawsuits (as they should be) and want no more filming parties with normal, everyday people. Question: shouldn't this be a normal procedure anyway due to all the other fights that have broken out on these reality shows? Hmmmm

 Ohhhhhhh B****!!!! Chile, i just hung up the phone with a few people and they say it went DOWN at the Grand Opening of Stevie J’s & Benzino’s new restaurant tonight. Chile the folks said it was like World War III up in the place and Benzino’s new girlfriend is all to blame. Details are sketchy at the moment, but I’m going to give you what the hell I got so far.

First they say a screaming match broke out between Benzino’s new girlfriend and Shay Johnson & Tierra Marrie [we think]. Where there is Shay, there is Momma Dee. Lawd they say Shay & Tierra Marrie [we think] were trying to get in Benzino’s Girlfriend’s a$$ and Momma Dee had to hold them back.

Later on as the evening progressed, Karlie Redd & Erica were seen chatting it up in the corner. Some time later Benzino made his way over to Karlie and a small argument broke out. Then they say Benzino’s girlfriend made her way over to Karlie and the static began once again. Somehow or another, Benzino’s girlfriend ended up throwing a glass of champagne in Karlie’s face, but when she did, the cup hit Erica. At that point, Erica jumps up and is trying to get her a piece of the action too. Bae Bae they say Benzino’s girlfriend ran to the bar, grab a bottle of Liquor, and slung it all the way across the room. Chile they say liquor was everywhere.

It gets better… Then they say Scrappy, mad with whomever at the bar who was responsible for allowing Benzino’s girlfriend to get to the bottle begins to whoop a$$. At that point a big brawl breaks out at the bar. Chile to top it off, they say Benzino cussed the dog F&ck out of Karlie Redd and had security escort her out the club. Everyone I’ve spoken too says Karlie was so embarrassed and was a wet dripping mess when she left the club. My informants says everyone felt so bad for the way Benzino kicked her out of the club and for the fact that she was by herself.

The real gag is after the brawl was over, party goers could hear the production people saying “its a wrap. Let’s pack up and go.” I guess they got what they came for, there was no need to stick around for the aftermath. Chile… I mean what can you really expect from a business called SLEAZY & Zino.

Watch Basketball Wives L.A. Extended Trailer



So just when I was buying into the fact that Basketball Wives L.A. wasn't going to make a comeback, these gals managed to pull together yet  another season, which MAY keep people watching.(Unlike these other shows on VH1 lately. Sorry.) Of course, they added new members since getting rid of the "dry" Govan sisters; Enter here British Williams, Brandi Maxiell and Sunday Carter.

I haven't a clue who either of these ladies are, except maybe Sunday Carter, and for what reason other than might have been thrown around more than others as possible additions to the cast. The newbies will join other veteran members, Jackie Christie, Draya Michele and Malaysia Pargo.

Apparently they have quite the drama for this season. Draya's relationship with baller boyfriend Orlando Scandrick is put on blast for the cameras, especially when Jackie comes with the allegations that he is also dating her daughter.

 New girl British seems to be a young girl dating a baller who is all about her money and lifestyle. She seems to not care if he dabbles with other women stating she "wouldn't put it past him"

Umm okay girl. That's what they all say.

The other girls seem to be in cohorts to be Jackie's new posse, since everybody previously and already on the show cant deal with her crazy antics.

Getting Thier Act Together: SNL Finally Hires Black Female Comedian Sasheer Zamata



Amongst criticism of the lack of black female comedians on Saturday Night Live or SNL, the show finally came to terms and hired Sasheer Zamata, the first woman of color on the show since Maya Rudolph left in 2007.

The shows newest addition is a comedienne from The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre and a University of Virginia alum. She will making her debut on SNL on January 18 with Drake as the musical guest. Will you be watching???

Another thing to note is that SNL also hired two black female writers, LaKendra Tookes and Leslie Jones.

Stevie Wonder to Perform With Daft Punk at This Year's Grammys



Daft Punk will be performing this year at the 56th annual Grammy awards. The duo will feature the great Stevie Wonder as well as appearances from Pharell and Nile Rodgers.

Now, for those scratching their pretty little heads as to who the heck Daft Punk is, they were featured recently on Pharell's hit "Lucky". I've followed Daft Punk for years now and stumbled upon some of their videos back in my " I have to watch MTV 24/7" days. ( You remember, back when they actually played videos?)

Another Dog Diary: Ludacris has a baby on beautiful girlfriend Eudoxie



I was going to include this story in the last post, but here goes. Ludacris, a.k.a Chris Bridges has had a child with a woman named Tamika Fuller. Initially, there were reports that he had knocked up some "random" chick, but according to BallerAlert.com, he has known this chick since his teenage days from his old stomping ground, Benjamin E. Banneker High School, in College Park, GA.

The kicker of  this dog diary is that Ludacris is going out of his way to make sure this Tamika chic isn't on the come up. He is in court trying to get a DNA test, (which he should) and lock in child support payments at $1,754.66 due to the fact he is claiming to make $25,842.41 on average monthly.  (Dosen't that sound a little exact, to the T amount for an average income?)  Which is cute for you Luda, since Forbes has him listed as making $12 million a year.

Let me make sure I say this: Have you seen Eudoxie? She's fine and smart as hell!!! I'm really losing hope for men in 2014 y'all.......

Dog Diaries: Dwayne Wade Has a Baby on Gabrielle Union



Welp, for certain people, 2014 is going to be an interesting year. Everything seemed peachy keen when a few weeks ago, Dwayne Wade finally proposed to his longtime girlfriend, actress Gabrielle Union, whom he had been reportedly dating since 2009. Wade proposed during a Christmas party on December 21, and Wade posted a pic of the ring on Instagram saying "She said Yes!"

So imagine when myself, and I'm sure a few others were scratching their heads when on December 30, there were reports that Wade had a fathered a newborn son that was born on November 10.

Oh. ummm.. ok.

The child's name is Xavier Zechariah Wade and the mother is 30-year-old Aja Metoyer. Wade is not listed as the father on the birth certificate but clearly has his last name, which was obtained by gossip site TMZ.

So all this was going on about six weeks before his proposal and once he proposed, he stated

"“In our time apart, in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son who was born healthy,” Wade said. “I got a chance to see him,” Wade said. “I’m involved in my kids’ lives, you know. When my kids lived at home with me, when they weren’t living at home with me, I tried to do everything I could to see them.”

Time apart Wade?  Uh-huh. So of course the blogs were a buzz just trying to see if there was an exactly a "break".

TMZ uncovered the following:

On February 5th Gabrielle was Instagramming about Wade ... posting a photo of the NBA star cuddled up with her dog Sasha along with caption, "Sasha don't play when it comes to her man... 'Down to ride 'til the very end, it's me and my boyfriend.'"



A couple of days before that (on Feb. 1), Gabrielle posted a romantic photo of the couple together from a photo shoot for a "Flashback Friday."

Doesn't seem like a couple on a break ... 

There's more ... on February 19th, Gabby posted another pic of Dwyane holding one of her scripts ... with the caption, "It takes a village to help an actress learn her lines... @dwyanewade takin a break from his Gatorade commercial to give me a line reading. Thanks coach :)"


The pattern continues until April ... when Gabby stopped posting pics of Dwyane and started posting a bunch of sad cryptic quotes. One reads, "We cannot start over, but we can begin now, and make a new ending." Another says, "Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand up taller than you ever were."




Listen, I understand that relationships have their ups and downs, trials and tribulations, but to father a child outside of the relationship and then ask me to marry you? You could've keep that proposal and at least tried to move forward and work on the relationship before you throw proposals all everywhere, to save face maybe? Chile, he already has odds against him being a basketball player and most cheat, and he effs up and has a child on you and then proposes? Tuh. If that ain't a red flag, I don't know what is. But you can't help who you love but Gabby, girl, you too fly for that ish......
