Real Housewives of Atlanta Supertrailer

Bravo just released a Real Housewives of Atlanta supertrailer and thank goodness I didn't post those other snippets. Looks like this season is going to be good!

We see Nene and Gregg on the scene again after remarriage. Of course, their is Krazy Kenya, who is seen twirling about and gets the police called on her for her publicized eviction. Porsha seems to be all over the place since her and Kordell have called it quits and Cynthia and Peter are having money woes once again. Kandi is struggling with her mother trusting Todd and reports of infidelity arise. Phadra and Apollo have a new bundle of joy and other problems which seems include some sort of question of "fellatio" and then a quick turn to an all out brawl at the end.

I cant wait. Will you be watching??

Check out the trailer http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-atlanta/season-6/videos/the-atlanta-housewives-return

TLC Speaks About Being Scammed Out of Millions by Pebbles Reid; Brings That Old Thang Back With GMA Performance

Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozanda "Chili" Thomas of the hit girl group TLC, stopped by the Breakfast Club to promote their upcoming biopic CrazySexyCool which airs October 21 on VH1.

Of course, the interview wouldn't have been just for not bringing up key moments that were highlighted in the film, which included getting "raped" by Perri "Pebbles" Reid.

Pebbles was the creator of the group and the pair explained that while she taught them things, she was very difficult to work with:

T-Boz: It’s not exaggerated. When we didn't sign our contracts she cried and she did the whole, ‘You don’t trust me.’ That was true. But she had a tear. Remember the tear? We called it a Demi Moore tear. The thing that is true though, she did do some good for us. She put us together. She taught us some things. But then there’s always times when you work with people, there’s always things that you’re never going to agree with and you don’t like their ways. And people part ways, and I don’t think that she ever got over that.
And the group even had to buy their name back: AT 3 MILLION A LETTER. Chile, it's amazing what greed will do to people.  They were asked why they didn't leave and responded:

Chilli :It’s our dream and most people go through things and at the end of the day you just want to work really and hopefully sell a lot of records so you have the power to change those kinds of things like bad contracts and stuff like that.
T-Boz: But you also want to learn from your mistakes. You don’t want to sit in this business. We’ve been here 20 years and that’s two decades but you need to learn along the way and soak up all the information you can because that would be stupid to be our age and still going through the same things. That’s not hot.
At the end of the day, the ladies are one of the biggest girl groups of all time and have sold millions of records around the world. Apparently, Pebbles went to twitter and was not pleased:

"I NOT here to promote something I put on the MAP and yet have been disrespected by because of more reasons than one! Lawyers on deck."
Girl, good luck with that. The girls kept it classy and did not try and drag your name through the mud. Looks like you did that all on your own. So you cant be mad when they tell the story from their point of view and you feel some type of way now. You may be lawyered up, but best BELIEVE after the ride you took them for, they are too.

Check the interview out below:

P.S. I thought everybody knew about the group being bamboozled out of millions. For any spring chickens who don't remember, I posted videos below too.

And before I forget, did anyone catch their greatest hits performance on Good Morning America?
Makes me miss those days so much check out that video of these two getting their groove back!

"Love and Hip Hop" Season 4 And "Chrissy and Mr. Jones" Trailers

I know I'm hella late but  look who's back.

"Love and Hip Hop' is returning for yet another season and it actually looks to be a good one. Seems they have dropped the dead weight from last season ( I can't even actually remember the dead weight) and added new cast members, which includes K. Michelle's transition from the LHH Atlanta cast. Hopefully, this season will give actual real (Ha!) and interesting story lines this go round.

Oh, and let's not forget former cast members, Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones's new show, "Chrissy and Mr. Jones". I didn't really watch last season and raised a brow when I saw the trailer for the second season, but maybe I'll give it a twirl this go round. Of course, this season brings us back to the pair who are STILL engaged and the introduction of Jim's son, who is living with them full time. It should be interesting to see Chrissy as a step-mom.

Check out the trailers below and let me know if you will be watching!

Look Who's Talking: Laura Govan Says Shaunie O'Neal Ruined the 'Basketball Wives' Brand

Welp, they say a hit dog will holler.....

Looks like Laura Govan has a few unkind words about the creator of the "Basketball Wives" franchise, Shaunie O'Neal.

She feels as though Shaunie isn't keeping with the whole basketball wives theme and is focusing on more of the "hos" (somewhere along those lines).

Rumor has it that her and her annoying sister Gloria Govan have been axed from the cast for the upcoming season of "Basketball Wives: LA". Guess that was adding salt to the wound because Gloria was infamous for saying that had it not been for her, there wouldn't be a "Basketball Wives L.A."
Funny thing is, when the show started it was loosely based on former and current girlfriends or wives,(which it still is) in which case, her and her sister were only dating basketball players like everyone else. Hell, throughout the first season in L.A., we watched Laura try to move on because her basketball boo Gilbert Arenas, left her to fend for herself and their kids (so they say).

And let's not forget, these two and their antics are the very reason they ran Gloria's wack behind from the Miami cast because weren't you, yes you Laura Govan, one of the reasons Shaunie's and Shaq's marriage ended because you were sleeping with him behind Shaunie's back and your bobblehead sister wouldn't admit your behind was wrong?

But I guess we're sleep though.

So now you're out here looking bitter after everything is said and done, you've been axed from the show and you feel some type of way. And guess who still isn't a basketball wife? Don't fight the hand that once fed you boo boo: after all, if it wasn't for SHAUNIE, there would not be a basketwives anything. See how that works?

Bout Time! Rhianna's "Pour it Up" Video Premiere

Well, I would have happily posted the Rihanna "Pour It Up" video earlier, but looks like there was some technical difficulties and all but just in case you have been hiding under a rock, check out the so-called "raunchy" video below. But before you do that, I must say I liked the video; I like Rihanna's lil sample of twerking and her channeling her "inner stripper" on the pole. The appearances by Nicole "The Pole" Williams and Secret Moneii were nice, but honestly I would have liked to see the top-notch performers of King Of Diamonds make an appearance. Maybe they weren't available? I dunno. All I know it would've been the twerk-fest of the year to see Remy Redd do splits on the ceiling, someone sliding dangerously down the pole or SUMTHIN. (Yes, I know certain strippers names. I frequent there from time to time. It's entertainment y'all.) Anywhoo, check it out and enjoy!

New Reality Couple Alert: Lil Scrappy and Bambi and Karlie Redd and Yung Joc

So it looks like the next season of "Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta" will have it's fair share of couples trying to get on that Stevie J and Joseline status of reality couple success.

So when all else fails, (yes, you Lil Scrappy)with your relationship with your child's mother, Erica Dixon and your Flava of Love, Charm School, Francine looking jump-off, Shay Johnson, go find another thirst bucket who's looking for more reality fame, all the while, keeping you relevant. (Gotta pay those child-support checks, ya fizniyee?) Enter here, Bambi. You may remember her from Basketball Wives L.A. and her brief cameo appearances during the most recent season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta- cue the infamous hot tub scene with Kirk and that other thirst bucket, Mary Jane.)

Seems as though the two are officially a couple and the two are smitten (with guaranteed storylines next season, of course.) I wondered about these two long ago, when Mary Jane did an interview on V-103's Big Tigga show and Bambi called in to call her a slut and sorts and Mary Jane told her to ask Erica if she knew about her cohorts with her supposed then man, Lil Scrappy. Lo and behold, months later the two are an item and it will be interesting to see how her role plays out. Will she bump heads with Erica? Or even crazier will she bump heads with that ol' jump-off thang Shay?

Bambi has already confirmed in interviews that she will be on the show and that she is comfortable with her relationship with Scrappy, saying he's dropped all the other groupies and such and is only here for HER. Tuh. Let's see how that pans out.

Another perspective reality couple for next season could be that of Karlie Redd, (ya'll know her storyline was dry as hell last season.) I've seen a couple of candid photos of her kissing and cuddling with Yung Joc (rememba him?) Lol, I'm not sure if he's only popping in Atlanta right now or not, but if he knows how these other struggling Atlanta artists do, he'll hop and that train til the wheels fall off.

Vanessa Simmons Expecting Baby Girl With Boyfriend Mike Wayans

Well, I knew Vanessa Simmons had been quiet on the scene for awhile and now we know why. Simmons posted a sonogram pic on Instagram days ago confirming that she was indeed expecting a baby girl! Congrats!

Another thing that I wasn't aware of  is that she was pregnant by her boyfriend, Mike Wayans, (son of Damon Wayans). Word on the curb is that they've been cozy together years! Marriage in future, perhaps?

Jay Z Covers Vanity Fair; Talks About Crack Dealing And His Daughter's Love For His Music

Jay Z will be covering the November 2013 cover of Vanity Fair, in which he discusses his crack-dealing days, wooing the hottest chick in the game, and his daughter's love for his music.

While keeping his fashion dapper and iconic, he also added a hint of street style from his Brookyln roots through styling by June Ambrose.

The rapper explained his good business sense was learned through crack-dealing.

I know about budgets. I was a drug dealer.  To be in a drug deal, you need to know what you can spend, what you need to re-up.”
He emphasized that his dealing days were used as a stepping stone and that you always have to have an exit strategy.

“If you want to start some sort of barbershop or carwash — those were the businesses back then.  Things you can get in easily to get out of [that] life.”
“You have to have an exit strategy, because your window [for dealing drugs] is very small.  You’re going to get locked up or you’re going to die.”
Cue dope boys, or the aspiring ones, at least. You can't be Jay Z's age still trapping.

As far as what got him out of that life and how it affected him:

“Not until later, when I realized the effects on the community. I started looking at the community on the whole, but in the beginning, no."
“I was thinking about surviving. I was thinking about improving my situation. I was thinking about buying clothes.”

He was also asked if the rumors about his daughter, Blue Ivy, not liking Beyonce's music was true and how she likes his music.

"That’s not true. She does like her mother’s music—she watches [Beyoncé’s concerts] on the computer every night. But my album came out and I don’t know if Blue ever heard any of my music prior to this album—she’s only 18 months old and I don’t play my music around the house. But this album was new, so we played it. And she loves all the songs. She plays a song and she goes, ‘More, Daddy, more . . . Daddy song.’ She’s my biggest fan. If no one bought the Magna Carta [album], the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy. And that’s not like a cliché. I’m really serious. Just to see her—‘Daddy song, more, Daddy.’ She’s genuine, she’s honest, because she doesn’t know it makes me happy. She just wants to hear it.”

He then goes on to talk about the other lady in his life, Beyoncé and how he snagged her ten years ago.

Jay says that when he and Beyoncé were both featured on the cover of Vanity Fair’s 2001 Music Issue “we were just beginning to try to date each other.” Try? “Well, you know, you’ve got to try first. You got to dazzle . . . wine and dine.” He tells [writer] Robinson that “of course” he pursued Beyoncé, and when asked if he hadn’t been Jay Z—say, he had been a gas-station attendant and she pulled up—would he have been able to date her, he responds, “If I’m as cool as I am, yes. But she’s a charming Southern girl, you know, she’s not impressed. . . . But I would have definitely had to be this cool.” Jay confirms that the line on his latest album, “She was a good girl ’til she knew me” is about Beyoncé, and when Robinson asks if she’s not a good girl anymore, Jay laughs, saying, “Nah. She’s gangsta now.”
At 43-years-old, Jay Z is about to kick off his Magna Carta Holy Grail tour November 30th, and does not see an end to rapping days anytime soon. (Remember his retirement, wasn't like almost ten years ago?)

And that Chris Brown, is how Jay Z gets a pass. He turned lemons( crack-dealing) into lemonade (good business skills and one of the top paid rappers in the game.) No whining here, sir.

Two Informative, Yet FUNNY Takes on The Affordable Care Act or "Obamacare"

Of course by now, many are aware that the government has shut down due to the ability to agree on government spending.  One of the main issues that is surrounding the reason for this crisis if The Affordable Care Act or Obamacare. Open enrollment began today, and I can say had it not been for these videos featured below, my head would still be in the clouds as to what the heck Obamacare even is. Welp, after viewing this clip from the Jimmy Kimmel show, it seems I am not alone.

I think it's too hilarious that people think that The Affordable Care Act and Obamacare are two different things. What's even funnier is that most of the people they asked were white people, attempting to sound educated on the matter but just sounded plain dumb.
Tee-hee-hee-hee.

Obamacare sounds scary to white people. The Affordable Care Act sounds more comforting. Great PR ploy for making white folks comfortable. Because it's bad enough a black man is taking the country's reigns, let's not get him involved in everyone's healthcare too. But then again, I didn't know much about until today anyway, so there's that.

Anywhoo, another video surfaced today with Jennifer Hudson spoofing Olivia Pope from ABC's Scandal. In the video, Hudson is deemed the "fixer" and is searching for a scandal, but instead helps those who have had previous problems with healthcare. Check out the video below.

Stop Your Whining: Chris Brown Claims Jay-Z "Gets a Pass" in the Media

Chris Brown is STILL mad he can't have his way and he recently opened up to Jet magazine to let y'all know why he's mad.

Seems as though Mr. Brown still feels like he is crucified in the media due to racism and wants to know why Jay-Z gets a "pass" in White America and he doesn't. Well, we could look at a couple of things here:
  • Jay-Z is a talented and successful rap artist AND businessman
  • You haven't seen him looking like he's tried every drug in the book
  • He's not widely known for beating the bejeezus out of a popular female artist Rihanna
  • Matter of fact, he's is not known for having public temper tantrums, when in fact he has nothing to be mad about.
  • He's got the hottest chick in the game wearing his chain
  • He has a scrumptious little one named Blue Ivy
  • I know I could say a lot more, but numbers don't lie, check the scoreboard. I mean, those are Jay-Z's words, not mine.
In the interview, which is can be read in full in the latest issue, which came out Monday, September 23, Brown points out that nobody points out that Jay-Z sold drugs and shot someone.

Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted…except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that [Jay Z] stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass
Really Chris? He stabbed someone, you beat someone. Thanks for pointing that out, sir. It just seems that for someone who wants to be accepted in the media, why would you go out and ATTEMPT to throw salt on someone who will never be held in the same category as you, as well as the very person who's protege you beat up years ago. Chris, please stop worrying who gets a "pass" and have several seats and get your life together. Geez.

Enough with my personal attempt at "reading"  but you already know Mrs. Wendy "How You Doin" Williams going IN on Brown:

Chris is blaming his rocky relationship with the media on racism. He says that Jay Z is one of the few black artists who seems to get treated fairly by the media,” she said o her live studio audience. “You are less than smart for trying to blame Jay Z. You need to blame yourself young man. You’re a woman beater, you’re disrespectful, you threw a chair out of the window of “Good Morning America”…what ever happened to that cute young man that used to dance for the Doublemint gum? What ever happened to him?”
“Now I get it, all boys grow up,”  “A boy grows into a man, but you look like a junkie. That’s what I’m gonna say. You’ve got those nasty tattoos, you’re way too skinny. You don’t seem to have respect for much at all. You beat the stew out of Rihanna and you’re with that Koochie Crayon right now. I gotta tell you something, Rihanna is good but the Rihanna she’s become is a little too edgy if you’re looking to change around your image and you want to be treated the way Jay Z [is treated].”  (Hmm , my thoughts exactly.)
“Why don’t you go out with a nice girl named Mallory or something,”
Wendy continued on saying, “It helps Jay Z’s image that Jay Z is very cognizant of his image, but it also helps a lot that he’s with a nice girl named Sasha Fierce.”
“Please don’t Twitter war me because I don’t bark back. So please save your Twitter war rant, young man."
Why didn't he even think ya girl wasn't gonna give it to him *sighs* Check out the video below:

Tami Roman Lands Spot on "Tiny Tonight" and Clears up Beef With Meeka Claxton

Tami Roman has been confirmed to replace Tamar Braxton on VH1's "Tiny Tonight' and I can honestly  say, I may be watching! The newly formed union was confirmed via Twitter, so get your Bud Light's ready to enjoy the new season.

Meanwhile, at the "turning a new leaf" program Tami has going on, according to NecoleBitchie.com,  she recently made amends with former BBW cast mate Meeka Claxton at  Sammy Black's Runway Show during New York Fashion Week.  Who can forget the infamous fight between the two in Italy during BBW season 3? Meeka filed a lawsuit against Tami after the episode aired and after all the nasty back and forth in the media, Meeka decided not to return for another season.

So when the two ran into each other during the event, it seems as though Tami approached Meeka and apologized and took pics to show the world that the makeup was real.

Meeka posted on her Instagram:
The feud is O-V-E-R…i don’t know how at a fashion show in a room full of 100′s of people @officialtamiroman and I could have such a deep convo, get so much off our chest, make peace and hug it out. I swear it was like no one else was there. #Growth #Forgiveness #RealSh*t
Tami also posted:
Me and @meekaclaxton. ..as she said, YES HELL has frozen over LOL. I apologized to this sistah and we r moving on in peace. #realwomenshit #maturity #liveinlove

I'm really proud of these two, because the hate amongst black women has to stop! We are too beautiful for that mess!

Tamkea Raymond Owes $200,000 to Former Landlord; Kenya Moore Gets Eviction Overturned

Looks like the former wife of Usher Raymond, has hit a bump in the road again. She recently lost the battle with her former landlord over past due rent, which is now totaling the whooping amount of $200,000. Initially, she only owed $50,000 in back rent for three retail spaces in  Georgia complex, which housed her business. The landlord sued last year, but since she still didn't pay, chile all those fees add up.

"Tameka was battling her former landlord, who claimed she owed nearly $50,000 in back rent for three retail spaces in a Georgia complex where she ran her business. Tameka argued it was her landlord who broke the lease and the case should be tossed, but a judge did not see it that way AT ALL … and ordered Tameka pay up $186,036.50 in principal and $18,628.65 in attorney fees ….. for a grand total of $204,665.15."
Tameka, I hope you get those funds together girl.

On a more brighter note, looks like "Miss Gone with the Wind Fabulous" got her eviction overturned.
The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" starlet was granted good news when an Atlanta Magistrate Court Judge vacated the judgement that formerly evicted Moore by former landlord Conya Weems. Moore proved that she was not late on her rent and goes back to court on July 18 for her counter claim for illegal eviction, slander and defamation of character, according to her publicist Courney Barnes.

Looks like Miss Kenya made sure she would have her day in court, which is what hurt her case before when the eviction was granted. Miss Moore did not show up to court, but the lawfirm representing her claimed they never received a notice about the hearing in the first place.

We'll see how this story develops......

Kirk Responds to Nicki Minaj's Clapback About His Extramarital Behavior; Jumpoff Speaks Her Peace

Well, whaddya know? Mr. Kirk "I know I ain't s**t" Frost tells TMZ that he knows he's wrong for his actions and all that cheating jazz after the Barb herself, Nicki Minaj told him about himself over twitter last week.

Now, let me say this. I've been reading a little buzz amongst the net that this Kirk and Rasheeda drama is all for TV and they are putting their marriage out there for ratings and that check, of course. But me, I kind of think there is truth to this situation because I just can't believe you would act like such a dog ONLY for ratings. I mean, I do, but I think he's being a bit extra.  I think that Kirk let the popularity of "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" go to his head and he was trying to overcome the shadows of last season, where he was perceived as a bit up a "chump". (Maybe that's where the gay rumors came from, because I haven't heard any hot tea surrounding any homosexual activities. They ARE in Atlanta).

Anywho, Kirk owned up to his ways by saying :

"Nicki Minaj is a woman and she was speaking about me doing inappropriate things. I can't fault her for that. Every woman who watched felt the same way Nicki did."
Awww, wasn't he respectful? More than what he was to his very pregnant wife, but hey, he knows better then to come for Nicki. He has enough haters, ya dig?

Meanwhile, back in whore, I mean whoville, the proud jump off which is Mary Jane hit twitter and told ladies to "hide their husbands". She recently hit the Big Tigga show at V-103 to express her actions. Check out the video below.

*Sidebar*- She also filmed for the reality series "The Real Mistresses of Atlanta" where she glorifies sleeping with other women's husbands. I'm gonna say check it out elsewhere, not gonna give her too much promo.

Matthew Knowles Gets Remarried

Matthew Knowles had tied the knot to his longtime girlfriend, former model, Gena Avery in Houston on June 30. But unfortunately, Beyoncé and Solange were unable to attend. Matthew and their mother Tina divorced back in 2009, after it was alleged that he conceived a child with another woman.

Beyoncé is obviously busy on "The Mrs. Carter Show" and Solange is in England performing at the Glastonbury Music Festival. So, I'm sure it was no coincidence that he decided to get married when he did. Of course, this raises more eyebrows about Beyoncé's estrangement with her father, who was her manager until they parted ways in 2011. I really just think he played it smart, just in case his two daughters, busy or not, may or may not shown up anyway.

Anyways, congrats to the happy couple.

Can't Say Im Surprised: VH1's Gossip Game cancelled and K Foxx FIRED From Hot97

Word on the street is K. Foxx was fired from HOT 97 in addition to the "Gossip Game" being cancelled. I only caught a few episodes, which to me, cast a catty light on the life and times of being a minority woman in the media.

Some believe that her firing was a direct correlation to the dismal failure of the show and who knows, who's not to say that had it been successful, her fate would have been different. I honestly wasn't familiar with K FOXX due to the fact I don't listen or keep up with HOT97 ( Hell, I just learned about Peter Rosenberg when the whole Nicki Minaj thing came about.) Its unfortunate that her career with the station ended, but when one door closes, another one opens, so they say.

I guess that would explain her awkward place on a panel discussion about the Zimmerman trial that I was watching earlier today.

K Foxx sat down with Ebony Magazine to express her thoughts on the matter:
On her abrupt “firing”
In radio, they don’t give you a two week notice because you could just go on the air and wild out, and say “F*ck you!” and all that. So they have you do a shift and tell you after your shift not to come back. It’s not unheard of for you not know what’s going on up till then.
On how her co-hosts, Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds responded They’re shocked. And confused…I’m a good person. I always came in to work I wasn’t a bitch to anyone. I always smiled. Did lots of events. I was a team player. [DJ Funkmaster] Flex called me and he said: “You didn’t deserve this. You rode for HOT-97.” I wore that logo on my back.
On if VH1’s Gossip Game reality TV show caused problems at work I really don’t know. I really don’t know. I didn’t know I had any problems at work. If I did, that’s news to me.
On Ebro Darden saying “you’ve seen all the rappers’ Johnsons” and that she “got your job” at HOT-97 by sleeping with someone–that you “slept your way to the top”?
I was thinking—is he saying that “the top” is HOT- 97? That’s the top? For me it’s not. So, I just think that when somebody says that they’re just trying be malicious and hurtful and they just have no idea of who I am or what my story is. That’s why it’s so important for me to do interviews like this. Because you go through so many things, and you don’t want to be a b*tch if you will and lash out but there are little girls who are looking at us.
One thing that I will say about it was that it was hurtful. Because the person that said it, my program director, is the one that hired me. And he brought me in and he knew that was not the truth. So why are you going to play with me like that? Why are you going to play with my livelihood like that?
Lesson learned, I suppose.

She Ain't Having It: Nicki MInaj Slams Kirk Frost Dirty Dog Ways

If you caught Monday night's episode of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta, you had to cringe or yell at the television screen when sorry ass Kirk kissed that chic in the hot tub.

Like I've said before, I don't know what has gotten into him or what he is trying to prove, but really, nigga? Kissing some random, when your wife pregnant and y"all been riding for 15 years? Kirk, you need to exit left and get Iyanla to fix your life ASAP, bruh.

Even Nicki Minaj had some thoughts and concerns and expressed herself via twitter Monday night:

And here's another question? On the show, the chick in question that he kissed is named Mary Jane.
Girl, how much class do you lack to knowingly kiss and fornicate with a married woman's husband on national tv? Like, what ever happened to hoes being hoes that were seen but never spoke?  You and Mr. Kirk need your ass handed to you on a silver platter.....we'll see how this develops....

Slight Bumps in the Road: Mishaps Behind the Scenes at 2013 BET Awards

While all of the black elite in entertainment came out on Sunday, June 30 for the 2013 BET awards, there were a couple of misfires behind the scenes.

You may have heard about the alleged punch that Omarosa's mother, Theresa Manigult, gave to Claudia Jordan on the red carpet. Apparently, Omarosa and Claudia are former friends but have been a bit of enemies for a while, with Claudia claiming she felt Omarosa had stabbed her in the back on the Celebrity Apprentice  (which shows how much know because that clearly is not a fav reality show for me.)

Omarosa was also none the less pleased when Claudia posted a picture of Omarosa laying her late fiance's, Michael Clarke Duncan's body to rest on Instagram and with Claudia calling the funeral a press opportunity. Oh.

So, allegedly the two had words or Jordan on the carpet after Omarosa overheard Claudia calling her "stupid bitch" (hey, anything with bitch is fighting words, especially for a black woman). So Momarosa( as she's sometimes called), walked up and punched Claudia in the arm.

Event security stepped in to break up the altercation, but  Claudia is said to have filed a police report, according to TMZ, as did Theresa, in which there are claims Claudia pushed the 65-year-old.

Chile bye. Sounds like ANOTHER press opportunity to me. Way to go ladies.

Check out the exclusive interview with Claudia Jordan after the incident from BallerAlert.com

Meanwhile, B. Scott, a media personality and blogger was asked to tone down her look while being the correspondent for the Style Stage for the 106 and park Pre-Show.

If you want to read about the entire rundown of what happened check out lovebscott.com

If you know anything about her, she is transgendered but always manages to look super fab, in my opinion. Well, somebody over at BET wasn't feeling her swag.

Scott says all of her wardrobe and such were pre-approved before the show but after interviewing AJ Calloway for her first segment, she was yanked backstage and told her wardrobe "wasn't acceptable."

She was told to pull her hair back, take off her makeup and totally change clothes. She was even already replaced by Adrienne Bailon until someone made calls and put her back on.

I didn't catch the pre-show but from the buzz of twitter and the pictures I was sure that something had been done and that she didn't seem "herself."

So imagine being contacted and approved by a sponsor for a job, who clearly knows what type of person they were dealing with and they tell you when you show up for your gig, "oh that's cute and all, but here's what WE feel comfortable with." Don't contact me then!!!!!!!!! Something about her personality prompted them to contact her in the first place and they tried to make it awkward but SOMEBODY over at BET felt uncomfortable. Tuh. No bueno BET.

BET reportedly knows they screwed up and released a written apology. Well, BET , that's cute and all, but actions CLEARLY speak louder than words.

Just When You Thought They Faked the Funk: Kordell and Porsha Stewart Divorce Drama Continues

Welp, just when you thought these two had gone away amidst their "fake" divorce, ish just got real again. Can't wait to see the scenes for the next season of RHOA.

Kordell was the one who filed for divorce, unbeknownst to Porsha. The couple were reportedly still living in the same residence after the filing and Porsha made claims she had been locked out the house on several occasions. Now there seems to be more strife.

According the TMZ:

The “Real Housewives of ATL” star just filed new docs in her divorce war with Kordell … and it appears the nasty split just got even NASTIER.
According to the docs, filed in family court in Georgia and obtained by TMZ, Porsha claims Kordell has locked her out of their residence on multiple occasions … and she had to have her lawyer beg Kordell’s people for a key.
Sources close to the situation tell us Kordell isn’t playing ball — and hasn’t forked over a key.
But there’s more … according to the docs, Porsha tried to work things out with Kordell in a mediation session, but she claims he blew the whole thing off … and called it a “waste of everyone’s time.”
Porsha wants a judge to force Kordell to either allow her to use the house … or pay her enough cash so she can get a “suitable alternative residence.”
Sources tell us Porsha is currently living with her mom in ATL — guess she feels it’s just not a “suitable residence” for a grown woman.
I am still hoping these two work things out, but best believe Porsha will be eating her words next season after rubbing it in people faces about having a husband and a "picture perfect life."

Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson says he can't pay child support and is arrested for probabtion violation

Child please!

Former NFL player Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson is definitely best not having the best week ever.

According to gossip site TMZ.com, Johnson recently filed paperwork lowering his child support payments from the $5,420 he agreed to pay back in March 2012. Since he has been released from the Miami Dolphins after his domestic dispute with former ex-wife Evelyn Lozada., he claims he cannot afford payments as he "finds himself without a contract and without a team." (Sound familiar T.O?)

If that wasn't the icing on the cake, Johnson was arrested this week after a warrant was issues due to possible probation violation.

According to gossip site TMZ:

Chad Johnson was just arrested in Florida — after a Broward County judge determined the ex-NFL star violated his probation stemming from his 2012 domestic violence bust … TMZ has learned.
We broke the story … a warrant had been issued for Johnson’s arrest earlier this month after he failed to report to his probation officer on 2 occasions AND failed to show proof of enrollment in a domestic violence education class.
Johnson’s probation stemmed from his domestic violence conviction involving ex-wife Evelyn Lozada last year.
35-year-old Johnson appeared in a Broward County courtroom over his alleged probation violation — and moments ago, the judge determined Chad WAS in violation and ordered him to be arrested and jailed.
TMZ has obtained Johnson’s booking sheet — he’s listed as 6’4″ 190 pounds.
Glad he was able to pull himself away from Twitter and Instagram to get his ish together.

Mary J. Blige and comedian Sinbad join the list of celebrities owing MILLIONS in back taxes

It's most definitely mo' money, mo' problems and please don't let anyone tell you different. At least not Mary J. Blige and Sinbad. Singer Mary J. Blige has been slapped with a 3.4 million tax lien. The IRS claims that Blige did not pay taxes for the years of 2009 to 2011. Blige also apparently owes the state of New Jersey  $900K and allegedly defaulted on a 2.2 million dollar bank loan. Comedian Sinbad has filed bankruptcy for the second time, claiming to owe $10,991,715 in debt with only $131,000 in assets. According to gossip site TMZ,  he also owes a cool $8.3 million of back taxes from 1998- 2006. Sinbad claims that he cannot pay his bills and only makes $16,000 a month. SAY WHAT??!!!! Look, I'm definitely not here to judge, but will someone please do a documentary on one of these networks on why so many celebrities are on Uncle Sam's hit list? I have questions. Like, who is managing their money? How can you go for so many years and make so much money and not pay? Isn't that why they spend (or should) good money to have people conduct this business for them? Chile, what do I know, I'm just writing a little cute blog:) Blige and Sinbad join the long list of celebrities with tax woes such as Ronald Isley, Wesley Snipes and more recently Lauryn Hill, who will serve three months in prison for non payment of taxes. Prayers up to these celebs as they go through these tough times.

President Obama makes uplifiting speech at Morehouse College's 129th commencement ceremony

On Sunday, May 19, President Obama delivered the 129th commencement speech at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. President Obama gave a rousing speech, that deemed a gateway of knowledge to the black community's educated that needs to be spread from every rooftop in black communities all over: Stop making excuses. Obama himself even admitted of falling victim to the very excuse pitfall of many black men stating "wrote off my own failings as just another example of the world trying to keep a black man down." The president also spoke to the 500 men of having to work "twice as hard" and that "nobody cares of you had a tough upbringing or suffered some discrimination" . He also urged the graduates to step up in their professional lives, give back to their less fortunate community and become better fathers and husbands. Whew, P.O.T.U.S., tell it plain.  For those who always criticized  the president for not taking a bigger stance on the issues of black America, I think he took the proper stance of speaking to some the very future leaders of black America. And quite frankly, there wasn't an elaborate plan and tips to be black and successful in America. It's what we as black Americans have always known but not all of us choose to exercise, especially with the past and future presence of discrimination. Yes, it is alive and well. But in 2013, with a two-term black president, I don't care how much you think THEY may being trying to hold you back, step your game up and anything can become possible.

HATERS BE QUIET! Beyonce dazzles at 2013 Superbowl performance

Beyonce put the naysayers to rest during her smoking hot halftime performance at the Superbowl on Sunday, Feb 3. With a dazzling stage formed in the silhoutte of her face, fire blazing, and her strutting her stuff like nobody's business, she shut down her haters who questioned her during her recent inagural performance where she later admitted she sang to a back track.

She even brought her girls from Destiny's Child for a cameo appearance, doing a couple of their undeniable hits and finally performed that infamous "Single Ladies" dance. (Always imagined them doing it together). I honestly don't get the hate and speculation with my girl King Bey, she is a beautiful black woman who is one of the world's top entertainers none the less. They tried to rip her apart when she admitted to singing to backing track due to the weather conditions and not a proper soundcheck, like the girl can't hold a tune. Really? Its things like this that amaze me because in my opinion, especially as an avid music lover, America seems to deal with the pre-packaged, sub par talent of today and we are supposed to deal with lackluster entertainment.

But Beyonce sets herself apart because as she been on record saying, she is a "perfectionist". She takes her craft seriously and actually entertains and will probably be considered an iconic entertainer of our time. Yet, people try to pick her apart like she sqwaks like a parrot when she sings like some other entertainers that you all may know...but hey, they talked about Jesus right? Anywhoo, in case you have been somewhere under a rock and a hard place check out her performance below:

She also took time out during her moment of glory to announce her world tour, " The Mrs. Carter Show"

Say Word? Georgia State University ranked #1 School for Female Students with Sugar Daddies

gsu

Well damn. I don't normally pay any mind to ranking to things but this one caught my eye because it is indeed my Alma mater. When I think about it, it kinda does not surprise me.

Via AJC reports:
Georgia State was ranked as the fastest growing Sugar Baby School in the nation by a dating web site that connects wealthy men with cash-strapped female co-eds.
Seekingarrangement.com reported Monday a 58 percent increase in the number of college students who signed up in 2012.
Georgia State had 292 new sign-ups, the most of any school in the nation. University of Georgia came in at No. 8 with 148 new users.
“Georgia State prides itself on fostering an enterprising and entrepreneurial spirit among its students,” said Don Hale, vice president for public relations and marketing communications. “We are surely surprised to see it manifested in this way by these women.”
The average student received $3,000 a month in “allowances and gifts,” according to a news release.

I began my matriculation at Georgia State in August of 2003 and as  gal from a small town in a large city , it was a challenging and exciting experience. But I do remember having classes with a lot of "video models", strippers, and the like. So of course, you're bound to have females who are getting that tuition paid, those books paid for, housing, and the like by any means necessary. Georgia State is also known for  being a commuter school, which goes against the traditional college campus student, who lives a typical college student life. You are dead smack of working, going to school or whatever else you please in the middle of downtown Atlanta.  Which also means you might run into a successful businessman or wealthy gentleman because you're right in the middle of the downtown pace and not hidden away from anything. So if you are a good looking gal or hang out where good looking gals could easily snag a "sugar daddy" I guess that's not quite so shocking. I also remember having having friends that only dated older gentlemen for their "financial benefits." Now, I'm not knocking  nor condoning having a sugar daddy because college is NOT cheap, but does this add value to my degree when I try to obtain employment? (You know, in case this whole blogging/writing thing doesn't work out, lol) Not here to judge folks because I was once a struggling college student myself, so get it how you live.(In hindsight, almost makes me regret those student loans I took out) But use it as a stepping stone and learn how to get your own after college, because you won't be young, fun and cute forever ladies.

RHOA recap and Kenya Moore's "Gone with the Wind Fabulous" Performance

For those of you who missed Real Housewives of Atlanta RHOA Sunday night, here's the breakdown:

  • The aftermath of Kenya and Walter's breakup- So Kenya invites her judgmental aunt and her side-eyeing cousin( that's just the vibe I got y'all) over to break the news of her and Walter parting ways. After expressing their disappointments, Kenya's cousin adds salt to wound by saying that she thought he was gay and that he tried to talk to her once (um, that's shit you say before you let get involved!)
  • NeNe and Greg move to L.A.- Nene and family move to L.A. where they are renting a house while she is filming for her role on "The New Normal."  She is suddenly realizing that the roles between her and Greg have changed, as she is the one bringing home the bacon now.
  • Phadrea and Kenya decide to team to produce the "Donkey Booty" exercise video- After previously discussing the possibilities of working on the project together, when they finally discuss things Kenya reveals that she would need a $100,000 budget, and then asking for 10% after she secured a distribution deal for the video. See, here is where the tricky part comes in. Now to me, it makes sense for her to want a percentage but apparently, they hadn't gotten down to the final line of the project, especially after Kenya came with those astronomical costs. Now, for anybody doing any kind of business, it makes sense that Phadrea would "shop around" per se to get the best deal. So, she speaks to Kandi's boyfriend Todd, who assures her that he could do it for much cheaper (probably better too, hell we was working with Bravo, who does Kenya work with?) So Kenya is upset, but nobody really gave her the go ahead to secure a distribution deal, and now you mad about 10%?  Like you were going to almost "bully" her into doing a deal with you. You are obviously not the best candidate. Girl, the more shows I see, the crazier you seem to get. Bottom line, don't mix friendships and business and expect certain things from people. It's their business deal with or without you.
  • Kandi throws Todd a surprise party and Kenya tries it- Kandi is definitely trying to get herself a ring and she knows she has landed her a good one. She takes him on a helicopter ride over Atlanta and then flies him over for a surprise birthday celebration. She then surprises him with his mother and he tears up *aaawwwwww*. The lion cake was adorable as well, to also celebrate their anniversary of when they met in Africa a year ago.  I wish them well, he seems like a good match for her.  BUT, of course yo girl KENYA tries to shake shit up and wishes Todd a Happy Birthday and asks about the Donkey Booty video all in the same sentence. Kandi is a good one, cause I would have stopped her after that sentence. It was TODD's birthday boo, are you dumb? She so desperate and thirsty for anything I swear! Kandi took it to the side and told Phadrea where she stated "bottom line is, I will  fuck somebody up about my man" Girl, and you got a good one,  I so totally cosign on that one boo.
  • Cynthia , Kenya and Phadrea meet up- So Cynthia and Kenya meet up at her agency to discuss Phadrea not wanting to give her 10% for the distribution deal she secured. Cynthia is side-eyeing Phadrea too because she sent out a tweet on twitter about a casting at her agency(which she didn't know about) in which she cancelled, because she needs her "booking fee" (damn right girl!) Once Phadrea arrives, they discussion takes a turn because Phadrea really ain't checking for her and her 10% and oh, i forgot to mention that she also mentioned the deal with Apollo behind Phadrea's back at the party as well.......
And last but not least, I stumbled across "Watch What Happens Next Live" with host Andy Cohen with MJ from "Shahs of Sunset" and of course Kenya Moore debubting her song "Gone With the Wind Fabulous" Of course Cohen seemed to eat it up because he is a queen himself but chile, those over dramatic movements, and those damn dancers....I was rolling. And you can't tell me that some queen somewhere is hopping mad because I guarantee she heard that  phrase from a queen and took it and ran with and is trying to cash in!!!!!!!!Anywhoo.......check out the video below:

Don't forget check out Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo on Sunday nights at it's new time 8p.m!!

What's a Girl To Do? Nicki Minaj's Hairstylist Quits

Welp, looks like someone got fed up with all those damn multiple personalities Nick's got going on. Her hairstylist, Terrance Davidson quit after three years of being apart of her team. He's responsible for her crazy eccentric styles that basically helped build the Nicki Minaj brand. And talk about bad timing honey,  since she's got tons of appearances coming up on American Idol. I mean damn, I thought it was just me when I saw her going back to her older, signature bang and all black hair. I had simply become accustomed to some crazy, lopsided looking wigs..... Rumor has it that there were "creative differences" going on amongst the camps, and if it's not all the bits of crazy tantrums she has been rumored to throw, maybe her camp is trying to tone  down her image a bit.(especially after that snub from the grammys and wack feud with Mariah Carey.  Anywhoo, Davidson released a statement:

“I would like to inform the media and supporters that I’ve decided to step away as hair stylist and wig creator for Nicki Minaj. It has been an amazing experience offering me a chance to express my creativity and exhibit my love for the art form of wig design. I have decided to part ways from Nicki Minaj because I would like to explore other opportunities within my own brand and re-energize my creativity through work in fashion editorial, beauty consultations, media personality, ‘how-to’ lectures and hair show development. I am very proud of the body of work built with Nicki Minaj and I appreciate the support over the years from fans who’ve expressed love for my craft. Look forward to seeing me larger than life in 2013”

           via Necolebitchie.com
Me personally, I liked all the craziness she did with her hair, but since she is on American Idol, maybe she should tone it down more because she is not the center of the show. Plus I think she looks more naturally pretty with normal cuts and styles right now. Save that for the next album/ tour and I'm sure you will be right on track with the hair we have come to know and love.
